Why is it so hard to learn mathematics

Compared with other subjects, many of our students feel that mathematics is difficult to learn. The difficulty of learning is not because they don’t know the words in mathematics, but because  understanding and calculations are difficult. The reasons are as follows:

  1. Mathematics is a kind of logical thinking, which is very different from our usual intuitive thinking, which makes it difficult to understand mathematics.
  2. The knowledge system of mathematics is orderly and requires a gradual process, and cannot learn by leaps and bounds.
  3. The center of learning mathematics is the pain center of the human brain. In other words, feeling the pain of acupuncture and processing the numbers are the same area of the brain.
  4. The abstract nature of the research object of mathematics determines that mathematics is clearly different from other sciences in its discourse method. This is the deductive nature of mathematics. This also makes mathematics difficult to learn.
